Sorry gents....long action. Never bedded. See pictures for barrel channel. Looks like someone sanded it lightly, not sure if they do that at the factory of not.

Both sides sanded, like someone was trying to free float the barrel?

Someone went to town on the barrel channel. To bad, I did want it until I saw that.

Saying someone "went to town on the barrel channel" based on the previous pictures is pretty harsh. Someone very slightly opened the channel, as in a hair over a millimeter wider at identical points in the channels as the factory laminate stock (off a 30-06) I set it next to in the pics for comparison.

Those pictures look a lot better and show a clearer pic. The first ones did look bad but these do show a clearer image of what we're working with.

Yeah they only shaved about .6 of a mm of each side.....no real damage. Looks like I have a deal pending.
