This is an early New Haven Classic with 6 digit serial number G649xx. I have the box, hang tag, and warranty registration. When I got the rifle it still had grease in the bolt. Can't say it was unfired but did not appear to be. I ran a half dozen or so rounds thru it to get on paper but never finished sighting in. Comes with Talley Lightweight Low mounts and a new PT&G alloy 1 piece bottom metal with Oberndorf style latch along with the original 2 piece it wears now. Intent was to inlet the stock for the 1 piece metal. Scope is not included. Stock has nice contrasting straight grain figure that looks better than the pictures show. Has one small dent below the bolt release that is barely visible in the photo. Bedding is like most of the Model 70's from that era, i.e. a little hot glue. Only putting this up for sale because of my lust for a Finnlight 30-06 for sale here. Pics have a little glare. Can retake if necessary.
