I purchased this knife new about 20 years ago. It has never been used, sharpened, has no defects, scratches etc. Newer ones have a plastic sheath, the older ones have the leather with stone in the pouch. This knife has spent it's life on the top shelf of my safe. This knife is a double-hilt, double grind design that may be not allowed in certain areas. I would not feel right selling to a youngster, so please adult's only. We can work out the payment.

Just an FYI, yours is also not San Mai III, but AUS-8 stainless. Nice knife, had one years ago just like it. Very quick in hand.

Yeah, That's why I took the close-up of the blade, I figured that is what the AUS-8 meant on the blade. But I was not sure if that was to tell you the steel etc.
