This is an early 700 with the flat safety. It has a 22 inch heavy stainless barrel marked CR & PJ Hart. It is .980 inch at the muzzle. Weight with a scope is 11 3/4 pounds. The stock is a 3 piece laminate with a homemade aluminum butt plate. I have seen this style from the 70's and 80's. The trigger appears to be stock but has been worked down to about 2 lbs or a bit less. There is a brass brad in a knothole on the bottom as seen in the photos. It has been glass bedded for a couple of inches and the rest of the barrel is free floating. I threw a scope on this and fired it for grouping. The first two 3-shot groups were under a 1/2 inch at 100 yards but the third group was 1 oval hole of about .050 center to center. Maybe just luck, maybe not. Bases included but no scope. I just don't see myself lugging this to the range so I will pass it on to someone who could get some use out of it. $500 shipped CONUS. Sorry no trades.

I want to add that this is a single shot with no cutout in the stock for a magazine. The action and the bolt lift are very smooth.
