What is your load to,'step down' to 3150 with the 168 ttsx? That's what I shoot from my 300 and I'd be lucky to break 3100 with a stout load of 4831sc.

RL17 is way faster than anything in bullets under 180.
The first load was over 3250 and bughole, but early pressure signs and did not need that.

Go to the RL site and look at load data, remember as the Barnes is banded and not fully engaging, you can normally go over book listed.
