This is a take off from a JC Higgins FN model 50 rifle. Made by High Standard and chrome lined. Mauser 98 Large Ring .270 22" barrel with ramp front sight & adjustable sporting rear sight. Barrel threads are clean. Shows a little thinning in factory blueing & some light marks. Bore appears clean and the rifle shot well before I replaced the barrel. I can email or text pictures. when you say the barrel shot well what do you mean?

The rifle shot 1.5 inch groups with the barrel before I replaced it. Back up looking for offers...I have no need for it.
