I am offering to a new home a Sharps Model 1874 made by C. Sharps, Big Timber, Montana. The caliber is 45 6/10 (45-100). The barrel is 34" long and 1" across the flats at the muzzle. The wood is rather fancy with an outlined cheekpiece. The receiver and forend tip are French gray. Sights are a long-range Soule tang with adjustable eyecup, and globe front with spirit level and apertures. Double set triggers; metal buttplate. This rifle is a beauty -- clean inside and out. The only marks are light ones on the barrel from the gun rack. Weight is around 12 pounds. Comes with 120 pieces of Starline brass. I got it used a few years ago and only fired cast lead bullets and black powder through it. Photos at:

Hello: Is this rifle still for sale? To save time I would like to ask a few questions. How is the bore and chamber? Who made the sights. Do you allow three day inspection? Meaning return after three days if decision not to buy. Unfired. Do you have a very good shipping container? If not I would be willing to purchase one for shipment. Does it work correctly? Are there any flaws in the rifle. Again if this rifle is sold I am sorry to bother you.

Thank you
