This rifle is a fairly rare model/cartridge combo. It's a featherweight rifle with a 24" barrel, tang safety, monte carlo comb. I sent it to Matt Yore here on the fire and he disassembled, cleaned and polished, ceracoated, and reassembled the rifle. I painted the stocks with texture paint for a positive grip. It's set up for desert coyote/deer/antelope hunting, but has never been hunted since completed. The bore looks great. It comes with matching weaver pivot mount rings and all screws, also completely coated. Has the original sights, which can be utilized by swinging the scope off to the side with the Weaver pivot mount rings. Really versatile setup for a Savage 99. Very nice workmanship on Matts part for sure.
Selling it for less than the sum of it's parts to help fund a long range bear setup. Sold a similar model on Gunbroker, also ceracoated by Matt, in 358 for $1100, but I'll take $675 shipped for this one just to get it gone. Not interested in any trades right now.
