For Sale: Remington 700 Kevlar Stocked (KS) mountain rifle from Remington's custom shop. Rifle is stainless steel , wears a 24" barrel, McMillan stock, and factory trigger (adjusted). It weighs exactly 7.5 lbs with talleys and a leupold 3.5-10x40. In my opinion this is the finest offering in the KS line, and possibly the best factory rifle remington has put out. These are no longer in limited production, and it took me a couple years to find this one.
Condition of this rifle is very good to excellent with a couple marks on the stock (see pic) and light marks on the metal that are difficult to photograph. Rifle shot 140 ttsx MOA, which is all I tried in it. Round count unknown, as I purchased used, but looks like it was used little. Only selling due to redundancy with remington mountain rifles.

Talk about a Hen's tooth.... Nearly impossible to get anyone to let one of these slip through their fingers. Bump for a rifle that I wish I could afford.
I came so very close to ordering one of these when I was back in college. Couldn't quite afford it, but it would have saved me a bunch of money buying this rifle or that looking for the perfect one.
As good as it gets, priced nice to boot.
Very nice rifle...
I meant to mention-from a great seller.
I agree guys... these are as good as it gets!

I got 'em in 7mm Rem Mag, 300 Wby Mag, and 300RUM.

And I'm STILL tempted here!

bump for a good 'un that's hard to come by.
Just got a 700ks .300wby (black & green). Best 700's i've encountered.
Thanks for all the kind words. All PMs have been returned.
I have one just like it that I bought locally last year. It's a nice handling rifle and this reminds me I need to finish working up a load for it. I worked with it a little and it looked like it might like the new 150g ablr's. Velocity wise it was keeping up with my 280 AI Montana. I was pretty impressed with what a long seated standard 280 and a load of 7828 will do. The rem action lets you seat them out there and run vld type bullets which my Montana doesn't do.

Nice rifle. I have two of them in .280Rem and two in .338WM. Glad I didn't have to pay as much for them though. Free bump.
What is the barrel contour? Thanks!
KS barrel contour is unique. It is between the Mountain Rifle and Sporter contours.
Very nice rifle!

You selling bc you got your ti 280 put together or just too many similar calibers? free bump for a nice rifle.
Too many similar calibers, and in anticipation of the .280AI Ti being done any day now. I will regret it if the new one doesn't shoot!

I sold the scope and rings.

Rifle, dies and ~200 pcs of once fired brass for $1350 shipped.
Sorely tempted.
Why is this still here? I really don't need another rifle...
Thanks for all the kind words, and free bumps. With 3000 + views and no sale, Apparently I want this rifle more than anyone else, so I have decided to keep it.

The Rifle is no longer available for sale.

Thanks for looking.
Just my luck. PM sent with a bigazz plea.
