Blade & spring are 52100 carbon ball bearing steel. Stuff takes a wicked edge & holds it real good.Killer thin hollow grind. Blade centers closed,spring is flush in all half stop positions. Genuine India Sambar stag. Great "wak 'n' talk" ,& fit & finish.
