This was a blem barrel because the barrel moved while being fluted. It is a Montana rifle company blank with a twist of 9.5.

The threads fit a ruger mk2 77 and is chambered in 7mm rem mag. It shot .75 MOA out to 400 yards with h1000 and 160 accubonds.

I tried to capture the worst of the blem on the fluting in the 3rd picture. It is the worst part and i indexed it down on my action so the stock would hide it. All the flutes show a little of this in varying degrees. Overall it looks nice and you cant tell until you look at the flutes closely.

This barrel sat on an action that i have sold and was my work truck gun. It was carried a lot and shot two elk. The barrel has seen less then 200 rounds for sure and probably down around 100. I don't keep exact round counts so i don't know for sure.

There is plenty of shank to cut the threads off and rechamber it to fit another action. I took the pictures on a measuring mat so you can see how it measures to certian areas.

It was a 4.5 contour so it is a mid to heavy barrel. I have bead blasted the outside and put a mat finish on it and it is ready to go.

Price TYD is $150
