This is a 1955 Southgate Weatherby .300 Weatherby Mag. It's in pretty good shape for a 60 year old rifle, but it's not perfect. Wood finish has the typical Weatherby crazing. High gloss bluing has some wear, but everything seems to be original, right down to the still soft Weatherby recoil pad. Beautiful old rifle that's not getting the love that she deserves from me. To answer silly questions beforehand, I don't know the "round count" as this was made in the days before bullet counters I have never shot her, but am sure she'd shoot just fine. I have an overabundance of 300 mags and would like to move her along. I think $850 shipped is a fair price. Trades are possible on this one.
