N-frame, Model of 1989, take .45 ACP using full moon clips. Excellent condition with original factory box & paper. Very nice to shoot, accurate, easy recoil with 230 gr "hardball" ammo. The 3" barrel is rare, compared to the more common 5" 625's. Would make a great general-purpose carry gun. I just wasn't shooting it much, so it's being cleared out.

It's on Gunbroker now, listed for sale by "Rocky's" which is my local gun store. New laws in Washington have got me worried about selling it myself, so it's going through a dealer.

You can search for auction number 468441517 if you're interested. It's quite a gun.

Regards, Guy
Got a buy now?
Wish it had been posted here.
I would LOVE that

With Washington's new gun-transfer laws, I'm probably being too careful. Figured if I consigned it to a dealer, who put it up for auction on Gunbroker, even a total gun-control nut case would have a hard time accusing me of violating the new law.

So there it is, still on Gunbroker for a while longer. It is a mighty nice shooting revolver that carries easily as well.

Where are the original grips?
It's at $803 with 6 days and 23hrs left with a wad of bids. This should bring a high price.

I don't know. Had the Pachmayer grips when I bought it.

Sorry, no original grips for it here.

Guy
My 625 w/ 5" bbl bought NIB came with Pachmayr grips just like these. (added: Could be Hogue grips - I'll have to look - but they are black rubber like those above.)

Best of luck on your auction Guy, but, like Cubic, wish you had posted here before going to GB.
Those are the original factory grips. I have one just like it and researched all the various 625 configurations before buying mine. If you come across a 625-3 that has a different grip than this then its not original. There were some special edition 625's from that era that were built for distributor Lew Horton that came with wood combat grips, but this is not one of those.
About a day left guys and the high bid is $955 this morning.

I got one just like that. The 3" version. It came new in the box with those same rubber grips. Never had wood grips.

Wow, is that all? I sold mine a year ago on GB and it went for $1795!

bump
Wow! Went for a tad under $1200.

I can live with that. smile

Was interested... But gun rich, cash poor at the moment.
