Got this for my son. Stock was cracked in shipment. Bummer...
Have $630 in the gun..consider another tikka in either right or left hand , $550 shipped ??? or..just want the bad taste to go away thats in my mouth, thanks !
Throw it in a Boyd's and sell the cracked stock cheap to recover some of the cost. Guys like project stocks.

The bad taste would soon be gone and forgotten about.

That's what I would do.
well my good intentions werent as well received as i had hoped so, next time it will be a right handed gun for me and a left handed golf club for him...i am pretty sure we will both be happier and i'll have more $$ in my pocket next time..
Ahhhhh, I see. Sorry to hear that and the bad taste is better understood.

Good thing is it is a L/H, so I don't think it will stick around long.

Good luck!

Twist rate ?
Twist rate on a 595 should be 1-12 twist.
I'll take it.
Good snag. Spent too much time worrying about twist...
My elk rifle is a M595 in 30/06, really nice. This should make a dandy coyote rifle. Bob
