I have a NIB Remington 700 SPS in .260. It is a 1:8 twist 24 inch barrel . I was going to build it to replace my model 7 .260 as my main hunter, but I think I will stick with the model 7. Asking $575 obo shipped from me to your FFL.

That is great price. I have one just like it and it shoots pretty well. Bump just b/c its a great comb a 260 in a 1 in 8 twist.

If I hadn't of just bought all the components to build a 260, this would be coming here.

I was in St.Louis Sat. To pick up a new full blown custom coyote rifle in 22-250. It was really hard not to set up a meeting for this rifle. Back home now that was close!

Speaking of Gunbroker Wholesale Hunter has 25 of these up for sale in stainless in 260 for a little less and they aren't selling. Must be tough for the SPS right now.

I don't think you will find an SS 260 SPS.

There aren't any 700 SPS SS 260s. Wholesale Hunter has a picture of a stainless 700 in their 700 SPS 260 GB ad, but the description says "metal finish: blue".

Looks like the link he was referring to. Not sure what shipping might be. Buds has them for $575ish shipped when they're in stock. You don't see them floating around too often, but they are nice little rifles. Good luck with the sale.

I got it from Bud's a few months ago . Like I said , I have right at $600 in it. If I can't get $550 shipped for it, I'll just keep it and think about selling the Model 7 after deer season .

Seems like a very good deal. I am surprised it has lasted. I have often checked on Buds for these and they were sold out. I am getting one of the Whitakker / MRC rifles that are being built, or I would have made an offer on this one. Who doesn't want, or need, a fast twist .260?

I looked forever to find this one , now I have my sights set on something else .

If I wouldn't already have the same gun it wouldn't have been up this long. Great gun for the price and they shoot.
