Pre-mil 99F 308 with pad. A little edge wear, minor wood marks, always figured it for a .338 Federal rebore but the .358 killed that idea. Just sits here. No cracks. Someone needs it $500.

John, I don't know. This is a featherweight rifle. It will probably too much recoil for a bowhunter from Idaho. Plus it's a 270, which we all know is... Well, I won't say it.

If the Model 70 guys had been paying attention they'd have figured out what a fine featherweight Savage put together for three or four years back in the late 50's early 60's. Would have made them feel bad about their beloved W's.
