Classic lines not as fat as they come from B&C. Weighs 27.1 oz as shown. First "I'll Take It" by PM or post. Any payment form ok from GoodGuys. Was bedded to a Mod 78 with std barrel. Guessing an action will drop right in.A fair amount of work into this, asking $175 shipped. Butt pad sliced and shaped for quick shouldering, reducing LOP by about 1/4" from whatever they ship. Purchased new in 2014, in earlier forms it had been to the range a few times and previously wore orange, yellow, silver, black etc.. which was stripped before this awesome Earth Fractone finish. LOL

Will followup with a few pics of flaws whistle

Hey, Mtnboomer.... I've got a '60's Remington 7 rem mag, adl. Will my barreled action drop right in your stock without any modifiations?
I'm going to research the Carbelite material. Do you have any info to pass on about this product? Thanks
MtnBoomer.... What caliber was the model 78? I read that magnum calibers require a reinforced recoil lug. My rem 7 mag would certainly require this feature...
Rootie, it was fit to a Mod 78 30-06. Not familiar with specific variations of Carbelites for the Rem 700 magnum. I did see a reference on Stockys about some others needing a specific magnum lug variation, but not the 700s.

This - Classic.

Added: as stated, it fits a standard contour barrel.
