Want to buy a recoil pad for the Rem LVSF stock or any information on a replacement recoil pad for that stock.

Thanks, Tim
If you have one of the melting pads... call Remington and give them the serial number and they will send you a new stock. CS guy told me the pads were glued on and not worth the effort to replace. Now, if you bought a used stock that someone had nothing in since they got a new one... I would call Limbsaver and see if they will sell a replacement.

Thanks for the reply. It's a used stock with a gummy pad.
The limbsaver is a perfect fit. Some of them are harder to get off than others. They are glued on, but some of the glue jobs are better than others.
Make sure you remove the 2 screws securing the pad to the stock. Lay the stock down and saturate the seam between the stock and pad with WD 40. Let that soak and soak it down a couple more times. Let it soak. Use a utility knife to brake the seal made by the glue and you can work the old pad right off.

Install your new pad that Limbsaver will gladly send you.

Enjoy your rifle my friend!
