I have a few projects I want to get started so I'll see if a few can go. This is a 1931, IIRC, Mexican small ring Mauser with a custom (unknown maker) 24" 250 savage barrel screwed on it. When I got this rifle the bluing was thin so I did a Gun Kote job on it in matte black. The stock was also way over sized IMO so I went to work on it with a rasp and some sand paper. The buttstock on this rifle actually has some nice figure with the remainder of the stock being somewhat plain. The only problem with the stock was there was one small check in the forearm that I filled with bedding material. The action has been bedded to the stock. I picked this rifle up with every intention of shooting it, but that never got done. Now I'm planning a 250 build. Looking for 450.00 shipped from a private seller to FFL. may consider a trade, feel free to throw an idea my way. First I'll take it gets it.

Cool piece. What type of bottom-metal do you have on it?
Inquiring minds are going to want to know the rifling twist, especially on the 250/3000.

Doc
Your selling a 250 on one of the best actions ever produced w/nice wood to build another 250. I don't understand? powdr
Doc, I knew that too and just didn't have time to check yet, I wil get that posted as soon as I have time to run a rod through it.

Powdr, I know it doesnt make much sense, but I've got a real hankering for a 20 inch fwt contour on a pre 64 model 70 in a High Tech stock. I told myself I was being an idiot putting this one up, but I'm not listening yet, lol..
Setch, standard military bm.
Nice looking rifle Shane. Can't ask for a better guy to deal with folks.

Reno
I'll take this one. PM coming in a moment.
Thank you for buying this. Great deal on a nice rifle!
Thanks Reno, looks like this one is going to slowmover.
