It looks like this has an old fashion eye view. Is that correct? Will it take videos?

And what type of card does it take?

Ringman....you can view either thru the eyepiece or with the lcd screen on the back and yes, it takes full hd 10180 video.

docost99....according to the manual it takes SD cards.

It defaults to the eyepiece, but just push one button and you can use the screen.

I was thinking about the focus.

Same thing, it can be either manual focus or automatic.

ow does the lens attach?

Push the lens release button and give the lens a quarter turn.
