Up for sale is a very RARE 4-digit S&W pre-model 34 Kit gun in 22LR, with the desirable 2" barrel.

- 2” barrel, second style flat latch, four digit serial number, two pins near sight area, and semi target hammer.
- All numbers match.
- The finish and lockup is excellent, showing minor handling marks and some very mild wear on the backstrap. Light turn line. The cylinder face does not have any dry-firing marks.
- There is a diamond stamp underneath the barrel flat and a factory rework stamp on the left grip frame that reads 555 (May 1955).
- SN 8264
- CA Buyers - This revolver is transferable to CA even though it does not appear on the DOJ "authorized handgun" list, since it is already in CA and is a curio/relic (50+ years old).

Certifiable - I think that's right as well. I used the age exemption to bring it into CA. It took me a long time to find one of this configuration -- 22LR, 2" barrel (especially difficult), high condition, and 50+ years old. The fact that it's a very low serial number was especially cool.
