Bought this a few months ago ($1500) and fired 10 bullets (405 cast at 1600 fps) and put it away. It does come with a new Lyman tang peep (with its box) mounted on the rifle which did not require any modification or drilling. 24" octagonal barrel.

I just used the supplied (with peep sight) longer screws. I will post pictures.
