Savage 460 S&W barrel - 07/27/16
I bought this off a member at savage shooters. I didn't fire it and only tried it on an action to see if I could get it to feed as a repeater. I could get it too with the Hornady pointed bullets. The guy I bought it from had pretty good accuracy with his limited testing.
Barrel is a Green mountain blank and has a JP recoil eliminator muzzle brake installed. The brake is 5/8-28 thread. The barrel is 16 1/6" long and threaded for small shank savage. I have 50 pieces of new Hornady 460 S&W brass that the heads have been turned down to work with a 308 bolt head. This is basically the same as the 45 Raptor. I just wanted brass with the proper 460S&W headstamp. I was going to use it in Ohio for deer but ended up with a custom 450 Marlin bolt action from a buddy. Also includes RCBS 460 S&W dies. $250 shipped for the package. I will try to get pictures up but can text them in the mean time.
