My opinion: gonna be a long search.

But I believe I read somewhere that the Bren was based on, or was, a CZ pistol...and the CZ75 can be had in 10mm.

CZ/Dan Wesson just released a new 1911 long slide 10mm, as well

They have been on Gunbroker. I saw a like new one on there not too long ago - maybe 2 or 3 months. There was another at the same time that wasn't new. Just be sure it comes with at least 1 mag. LOL.

Hell the mags are more sought after than the guns......

That is true. In fact, my understanding at the time is that is why the firm cratered.

While were waiting, a friend had Dornhaus & Dixon make up a run of pistols in .45 ACP for which magazines could be had and named them "Marksman Special." Once in a while you can find one of those. Mine in s/n 14 as I recall without looking. They are pretty nice.

That is one of the reasons DD went out of business. Another was the frames supplier had a batch of inferior steel. My original came with one magazine. Years later I was able to track down the man that bought the remaining magazines and parts (springs and followers) from the original company that made the mags for DD. I was able to purchase three additional magazines from him so I now have 4 total.
I have shot my 10 probably 1000 times but have since retired it to the safe along with the magazines.

Best of luck in your search.
