Pristine, never been fired Sako 75 Hunter in .270 Win. Very high quality rifle. Beautiful walnut stock, butter smooth action. Barrel, receiver and crown, finish and parts, factory recoil pad are flawless. No dings, dents, etc whatsoever. The Sako barrels are floated from the factory and guaranteed MOA. No Optilocks included with sale.

I bought this rifle with a purpose in mind that has not materialized. This rifle did not come easily to me. I looked for a very long time before I found this particular rifle. I would like to see it go to a good home of a fellow hunter and outdoorsman who understands what it is and would appreciate it.

$1350.

Very Nice rifle!...w/o Key Concept...
You're welcome to explain..
I have a Sako 75 synthetic in 300RUM that came with Sako's "Key Concept" locking bolt shroud. As is usually typical with a used gun, it didn't come with all the accessories it came with as new...including an extra "Key Concept" key, and a utiliy key that allows the owner the option of disabling the locking system.
Some people ignore the locking bolt shroud and move on. I couldn't let it go and switched out the bolt shroud with the style your rifle has. I heard a story where the locking bolt shroud rendered a hunter's Sako 75 rifle useless because the key that's integral with the shroud somehow fell out while hunting in a remote location.

I don't know when Sako started or stopped Key Concept but I prefer the Sako 75 rifles without the locking bolt shroud.

Someone else on here may have more experience with it...at the very least, a quick Google search will further enlighten...
Sir, thank you for your kind assistance. I wasn't following you for a minute. I had completely forgotten that phrase. You have more aptly than I could possibly have ever done explained one of the reasons my good friend suggested I buy this rifle.

He has a considerable stable of Sakos, as well as many other rifles, so I just listen to what he tells me.

He doesn't post pictures of his guns or stories on any gun boards, but I wish he would. Believe me, there is a lot we could learn.
beautiful rifle.

Wish I had the $
Thank you, sir.
Forgive me for busting in on your listing again but ....man oh man! This is a rare gem! If I only had the funds in hand...
JAT, feel free to bust in, buddy. And you're right. It is a gem. Lightweight, great handling, factory floated barrel, beautiful bluing, exquisite walnut stock. Nothing to not like.

Wish you had the funds because you sound like exactly the kind of person I'd like to see this rifle go to.

May I ask what purpose you had in mind for this rifle?

Very hard to find a Sako 75 without the locking bolt shroud let alone one that's unfired. Still trying to figure out how to fund this beauty.
I have one in Hunter Stainless, walnut and stainless config; probably the last rifle I would sell. Rock solid dependable and accurate. Hard to find a better whitetail rifle.

Thanks, fellas.

Jat, in a word, family.

A Model 85 would be 500 more, and not as nice. Super deal, someone will be super lucky to pick this up.
I'm drooling again ☺

Surprised to see this rifle still available.

...wish I could...
So glad my fun money is spent! Bump for a fine rifle!
Thanks, fellas. And Terry, you're right. The 85 is nowhere near the gun this one is.

I wish I was a better photographer because the pics don't even begin to do this rifle justice.
Last chance before going back in the safe til next year.
