300 Savage 99EG with Weaver scope in Stith mount. Very little blue wear or damage, bluing looks really nice. I did have to replace the buttstock, but with the correct model and era. It had a small gap at the tang which I filled rather than hand fit the stock. It's minor to me, but noteworthy. Buttstock has a sling stud, forearm does not. Minor marks, but really good overall. The lever is case colored. $725 shipped.

Hell of a set up, Hell of a price.

[bleep] mount is worth $200, easy.

That stith is the windage adjustable type, which is a better mount.

Very nice setup.

Good luck FB. Somebody is going to get a great setup.

Thanks for the kind words, it is a nice rifle, very tight. I think it's been sitting around for decades unused.

Bump for a hell of a deal !!

Great value. This rifle should go for about $700 BY ITSELF !!!

Stith Mounts are very hard to come by and this one is easily worth in the $200-$300 range. (As already stated by another member)

And then a scope!

This is just the kind of deals that I love hear on the 'fire !!

I just blew what wad I had on a S&W617, and an offer on a P226 or this set up would be heading to Iowa.

Also a great member to deal with, as honest as the day is long.

No, rarely shoot a .22 anymore even though I am set for life with supplies. Used to love those little pump guns but the eyes need optics.

Very cool!

It's interesting to hear the comments on this rifle. I don't know alot about the Stith setups. I actually bought the rifle for three reasons-

1) It had a mismatched buttstock that I needed, which sadly ended up getting the toe knocked off it during shipping, rendering it useless to me.

2) I had the correct buttstock to install on it, the one you see there

3) I wanted to check out the Stith setup and maybe shoot it.

When I got the rifle and saw the broken buttstock I wanted, I lost enthusiasm. This is the seventh rifle broken in shipping to me. I just went ahead and replaced the buttstock and moved on. Losing money at this price but made a real nice rifle out of it for someone.

This is a smoking deal and a beautiful, classic hunting rig that will just plain kill stuff.
