My wife and I both drew wild bison tags for WY. The lack of snow has made this less than a slam dunk hunt. If history repeats itself, the bison will move off the park and a herd will hang out in the close range weapons area. I'm looking for a 870 slug barrel that I can throw on one of my guns. Preferably with a barrel mounted scope mount but slug sights will work just fine. I'll buy it out right and sell it after the hunt or I'll rent it from you, either or. 12 ga

Have you considered the Brenneke Black Magic Magnums 3" 12ga out of your smooth bore? They shoot pretty well out of my BPS non-rifled barrel.. Or maybe get a rifled choke?
The Black Magics are advertised for smooth or rifled barrels.
I carry them when in griz country. So would be great for bison, I'd think.
