Scope Swarovski Z3 3-10x42 with BRH reticle

This is a like-new Swarovski Z3 3-10x42 with BRH reticle. It was used in a rifle with lapped rings. There are no ring marks and the glass is perfect. Comes with original box and registration card.

The BRH reticle matches modern 2900 fps loads pretty well. With magnums, heavier bullets gets you on the curve. It also works well, with 308-type cartridges with normal bullets. When sighted in for 200 yards, the next reticle is 300 then 400, 500, 600, 700, and the post is 800 yards.

Very nice scope (I have the same). However, I always thought the BRH (& the same but thinner BRX Reticle) was based on mil-dots & not BDC? Meaning that the stadia is a standard granulation throughout v/s a "bullet drop compensator" that makes up for the slower speed & more drop of the bullet?

That may be right. I use the Swarovski program for the BRH/BRX reticle to work the bullet drop estimation for specific loads.
