Mine is a 1980 Marlin 375 rifle, which I believe are the most common Marlin 375 rifles out there. I haven't seen one with the cross bolt safety in person, only in pics. I'll pass this on to a few guys I know that are looking for this rifle.

That would match my Marlin 336ER in 356.

And afternoon crowd.

I also have a Marlin 356 Win EER rifle and was very surprised that when shooting both of these rifles how much harder the 356 EER rifle recoil is compared to the 375's. My 375 has a much softer recoil of these two rifles. I expected the 356's recoil to be a little stouter than the 35 Rem, but it is quite a bit stouter.

Anyone that reloads will be able to shoot this 375 Win rifle all day long using 38-55 brass and cast and jacketed bullets that are readily available.
Buffalo Bore uses Starline 38-55 brass in their factory 375 Win ammo and if anyone has ever shot Buffalo Bore ammo, it is generally loaded on the + side.

Yeah, the 356 is a humper. Hell, it's a 52K CUP cartridge, same as a 358 Win.
