What kind of paint or do you use Cerekote? Do you do any stock prep?
At this price cerakote is out of the question.
I use a chip resistant paint. Cure time is seven days.
Just an inexpensive way to spruce up plain black plastic.

Very Nice!

Can you paint some stocks like these for me?

[Linked Image]
Do you mean like this?

[Linked Image]

Sure..... Who makes the buttstock?
https://www.midwayusa.com/product/4...ore-only-rifle-steel-and-synthetic-black

Do you figure the paint would not hold up on the other parts of the Butt Stock?
The problem is the release lever for adjusting length.
It's not easily removed for painting and I think it would leave marks similar to the marks the ENCORE frames leave on the barrels. The paint is chip resistant but, in my opinion, not constant wear resistant. Nothing is.
Down to 65 stocks left.

Have you ever done a Browning duratouch stock?
Never have. I don't know their composition.
It would be a gamble.
John
I have a duratouch stock too that needs some nice paint on it....for a Maxus ..... it's sticky as heck right now

I honestly don't think that paint would work very well on the duratouch, was just curious if someone with experience like John had tried it. You may check with Browning and see if they will replace it. I know Winchester is replacing a stock on a SX2 for my brother right now.
I will call them, but I'm afraid even if they will change it I will get to be in the same spot in a few years....Florida weather has a way of accelerating these things...

I believe Winchester (and I assume Browning) is using a different material now because they had so many problems.
