Very Nice condition, a lightly used rifle, looks about new. Nice wood. I have not hunted this one, but have shot it at the range for target (10gr Unique under 250gr Cast Ranchdog .380"). Cycles smooth and very accurate. Don't have original box.

It is a fine example of an original JM Cowboy Marlin rifle, I have several Marlins in 38-55 they are a great rifle cal. set up for Whitetail, Hogs and pretty much any larger game in North America except Brown Bear. These rifles are sweet long distance shooters when complemented with Tang Sights. I don't scope these Marlins but they do come drilled and tapped for scopes. The Marlin Owner Forum sight has plenty of info on these bad boys if you would like to read up on them. I'm a long time member there if you need referances.
Selling because I have duplicates, way more than I need. Going to wittle my way down to just (2) of these Marlins in 38-55's.

This one has been listed here for a while with no movement, so going to pull it off for now, to try another site that does not allow multiple site listings.
Thanks for looking, and good hunting
