I wouldn’t take $2,000 for my 7mm-08 but it’s had more work done to it than an edge.

I would say $1500-1600

I would have said the same 6 months ago but ti prices have rebounded a little and I have been surprised by a few recently. With not many 260s coming up for sale I think it would go $1700+ on GB if you wanted the hassle. For a quicker sale here on the ‘fire I think the above would do it.

And I am assuming good condition/low round count etc. since you did not specify...

One sold here not too long ago.

ETA: I guess I'm mistaken. I can't find it on a search.

Pretty hard to get more than what a Barrett Fieldcraft with a tighter twist barrel is going for.

Have both and don’t disagree with either statements; quite the contrary. But no more ti’s are being made and the market is what it is for them.

Joking! I'd say $1700-1800

Kimber Montana and Barrett Fieldcraft.

Better stocks and triggers; more consistent accuracy (Fieldcraft anyway), roughly the same weight.

I read this again and if you mean “hard to get more [price wise] than what a Barrett ... is going for” I think I might modestly differ in opinion.
Used Barretts can already be had in the $1300-$1400 range. This is roughly what the common ti’s -270 & 06 - are bringing.
The short actions that have sold recently on GB have all been over $1500; a 260 will (I suspect) bring $1700 plus. SAUMs have mostly been over $1500 as well.
The above is comparing used good condition guns; NIB guns will obviously be more (although only slightly for the Barrett.)

I fully agree that a Barrett is better in just about every respect; but they aren’t making any more ti’s...
