I have two vintage Marble Arms #171 auxiliary cartridge adapters for a Savage .22 Hi Power. They are cartridge converters allowing you to shoot standard .22 rimfire ammunition in your Savage 1899 chambered for the .22 Hi Power. These probably date from the 1930s and are tough to find in this caliber. They a a neat little accessory for your old 1899, good for both inexpensive plinking and small game hunting. Made in Gladstone, in Michigan's U.P. by Marble Arms, a company famous for their knives, hatchets, and other outdoor gear.
Condition of both is solid and they're in good safe working condition. The top one in the photo has some blueing wear on the neck of the converter but is otherwise excellent. The bottom one is in excellent condition with full blueing intact. The firing pin inserts in each are in excellent condition.
Price on the top one is $75 shipped.
Price on the bottom one is $85 shipped.
Take both for $150 shipped.
US sales ONLY.
