Local guy has a 12 gauge 28 inch barrel in wood with a standard buttpad. Price seems good.
Are these worth owning? I was looking at a 725, but they are hard to find in 12G with 28 barrels.

I have one in 20 ga and had one in 28 ga (wish I still had it) and both had the funky recoil pad. That is about the only thing I can say bad about the guns was the funky pad. I wish they had a standard pad.
Great guns (or at least mine have been) and if I found a deal on one, I would not be afraid to buy again.

I still think that the design guys were drinking one night and had a bet on who could design the ugliest recoil pad and that design won.

I own a 28 gauge 28" and love to shoot skeet with it, even tho I am normally a Beretta guy. Mine does not have that funky recoil pad. It has a standard design pad. Guess it depends on the model/year.

It sold pretty quick so I did not have a chance to look at it.

There was a reason for that. Hate you missed it, great shotguns.
