2 questions:

1) Picked up a Browning Citori that was manufactured in 89 according to serial #. Choke tubes have 5 slots which I suspect indicates they are skeet and skeet. Is my interpretation correct? Does any site describe the markings for sure? Did not see it on Browning's site.

2) Also is an 89 model likely to have invector or invector plus chokes?

Thanks
1) five slots does indicate skeet.
2) invector almost certainly... invector plus started in early '90s with backbored barrels. Stamped on table IIRC, but only on plus guns.
Browning ckoke tube marking are
Full=1 notch
Improved Mod=2 Notches
Modified=3
Improved Cyl-4
Skeet =5
and cylinder choke I think has no notches but have not seen one for a while so do not quote me on that one. You Can not confuse the two as Invecter chokes are around one inch in length while the Invecter plus measure 2.4 inches in length. This is for standard Browning chokes that are fully enclosed by the barrells, other after market chokes that extend from the barrells are a different matter.
