Pardon my ignorance. I don't know a lot about shotguns and less about ones chambered in 3" Mag. I have a Belgium A5 with two barrels. They are 2 3/4" Mod and IC choked. I have an opportunity at another barrel in Full choke for a Belgium A5 same gauge but it is 3" Magnum. Would this fit and work on my receiver? I am thinking no but don't really have a clue.

Thanks for any info you can provide.

Jim
The Hastings website says....

Browning A-5 - 2 3/4" Chamber. Barrels fit any Light 12 or Standard 12 receiver (guns manufactured before 1950 may require fitting to accept barrel). NOTE: not for use on 3" magnum receivers.

Browning A-5 Magnum - 3" Chamber. Barrels fit 12-ga. magnum receivers. NOTE: Not for use on 2 3/4" receivers.
No i don't believe it will work.
It may fit but it won't work.. Your receiver is not set up for it, carrier-wise, magazine-wise etc.. And you'd need to obtain another set of friction rings and collars specific to the magnums..

Keep looking for another barrel..

Thanks guys - knew you would know something about this.

Jim
I will not fit either way a 2.75 will not work on a 3" receiver nor will a 3" barrel fit on a 2.75 receiver. The 2.75 receiver are generally called 12 light or standard. The forearms are difference, the only difference in butt stocks is the mags came with recoil pads
It will not work, the barrel lugs are located in different spots
