what is a stevens double barrel shotgun worth?

I'm wondering what a double barrel stevens 12 gauge shotgun is worth? Its hammerless but has dual triggers. I'm not sure what kind of wood the stock is, its not walnut but maybe birch? Over all condition of the gun is nice a few light scratches in the stock. A friend of mine has it and wants to sell it to me, is $300 dollars too much for the gun? Thanks sam

If it is a model 311 they go from 3-400 in Connecticut. I have one in 20ga and it handles pretty nice for being an inexspensive shotgun.

$300 sounds reasonable. I have a 511 which is very similar. Mine is 12 ga with 28" bbls.

I'd agree with the other guys. $300 is a decent price for a Stevens db.
