No experience with the Instinct, but I have a Falconet Silver, 12ga., 24" barrels, cyl - imp.cyl that was purchased new in 1972 for $180.00. Weighing in at 6 lbs. or so, it is hard to imagine a shotgun better suited for upland hunting....

I got a falconet off my father in law in 12 gauge and I own a veloce in 20. Both are sweet shotguns. I let him hunt with the falconet again for old times sake on a ruffed grouse hunt in the Allegany national forest, he took a spill on a old barb wire fence that had been knocked down. He broke the stock but I got a gunsmith buddy of mine to put two brass pins in it and glue it. It's fine now and I dropped a few more ruff since then with it, but I'm saving it now for a family heirloom. You wouldn't want to sale yours would you? If you know anyplace selling one or anybody let me know please

I have the Instinct L in 20 gauge and like it a lot so far. My only complaint would be is that I would rather the gun have extractors rather then auto ejectors.
