Hi all,
I have an 870 special purpose that I want to mount a scope on. I am not having much luck in finding the correct base and rings. Can anybody steer me in the right direction?
Thank you
I think the weaver slotted one piece mount # 48345 fits it. I do some google work and find what the manufactures have listed, and/or check out the Brownell's website.
Get Burris Signature base's, its real common to need the additional adjustment.
Did you add a base to the receiver or is it a cantilever barrel?
I am going to mount the base to the receiver.
It is not a cantilever barrel.
Thanks
Here ya go.

Thank you for the help Gentlemen
Have a good night.
Passport's right - skip the saddle mounts.. They really DO suck.
One of the better Weavers to mount on an 870 is the #62 base. The position of the 4 screws fits well with the 870 receiver and it runs about $10-12 for the base..
Main thing is to ensure it's on straight and level and have the fore-most screw drilled/tapped just behind the barrel extension..
