I picked up a Beretta model 1200 a while back on the recommendation of a friend.

Used it a little trying to knock down some pigeons over the past year. But I do not really know how to operate the shotgun.

Any suggestions where I can get some guidance on running this gun?

I looked on Beretta's website for a manual, but there are no manuals for this model.

Anyone have any tips on running this? Has an odd way that you have to load the chamber on the first round, it seems. Maybe I am just semi auto shotgun illiterate.

I looked at that page before posting and saw the info for model 1200 but it was just an update to show differences between 1200 and 1201.

When you posted this, I went back and see that I overlooked the other 1200 manual.
