I'm still doing rehab following joint replacement and bending over a lot is an issue. Am seeking advice on what device to buy to assist in picking up my shotshells off a gravel surface following rounds of skeet/trap (club I shoot at requires they be picked up).

Am looking for a simple/quick handheld device. Anybody have a recommendation for what works?
Shotshell primers are steel as is the "brass" base on alot of brands. The club I shoot clays at occasionally has a magnetic pickup stick at every station. About three foot long with a magnet about three inches in diameter, I have seen them at most every hardware store. Quick pass over they shells they are stuck to the magnet by the primer if not the whole base.

If your looking for more portable a magnet tied to a piece of paracord would slip in a pocket nicely.

Some of the price point telescoping magnets are too short (under 36") and I'm trying to avoid stooping.

Anybody have experience with the MOJO Pick Stick? It appears to be plenty long and the video appears (key word) to be what I'm looking for.

Go to a roofing supply store and get the one used to pick up nails. I have one for work ,but use it when I shoot sporting clays. Works great and will stand up on its own.
I got a MOJO Pick Stick and used it today. So far I'm quite pleased as it seems to work well with no stooping. It telescopes out to 4.5' and the magnet easily picked up/held 5-10 shells at a time.

The Mojo is best I've seen. I've had over 30 hulls on it at one time.
