I'm no Fox expert. I do like side by sides though, and have bought sold more than a few.
From s/n it looks like it was made in 1922 by my source. Recoil pad has been added and to some buyers might be turn off.
Can't tell if it has ejectors?? Doesn't look like it does...ejectors always add value to selling price.
12ga. is most common, other gauges, especially 20 and smaller bring a premium.
If it were mine, I'd probably ask $1500. Like I said I am in no means an expert! I would look on Gunbroker for comperables....just remember you can't go by "asking" price, try an find what some have actually sold for.
If I wanted to buy a gun like that, hopefully I would do it in person to look it over good for tightness, loose rib, etc.. I'd probably try to get it for $800-$1000. But, I'm a cheap SOB!
Just my thoughts, hope that helps at least a little.
A lot goes into how I price guns, such as what did I pay for it, sentimental value if it was handed down to me, how bad I need something else...etc..
Hopefully someone else can chime in and be of more help than I.
Best of luck

An "AE" would have ejectors.
