I have a Pentax 3x9, I think a 40mm, MC, matte finish, white letter PENTAX regular duplex reticle. It came in a nice foam lined wooden box with PENTAX woodburned into the sliding top. Purple tint to the lenses.
It states "Made in the USA" is this a Lightseeker model?
What are your opinions of this model if you have one!
Thanks!
Any comments welcome!
I am pretty sure it is the Pentax Pioneer that comes in the wooden box with Pentax woodburned into the box. The Pentax Pioneer is the exact same scope as the Burris Fullfield II as they are made for Pentax by Burris and just put the Pentax name in place of the Burris. A great quality scope that you should be very happy with.
Thanks, Whitey!
It definately has "Made in the USA" on the eyepiece, but I am wondering what the "MC" stands for? Multi-coated?
MC is Multi Coated.
If it says made in the USA it is probably a Whitetails Unlimited. The Pioneer and Whitetails Unlimited are both identical and the same as a Burris FFII, however, the Pioneer is made in the Philipines and the Whitetails are made in the USA
Thanks a bunch! It is an OK scope.
