I have a pair of Nikon 8-24x25mms Travelite V binos that for no apparewnt reason (not used for hunting or high impact activities) have something loose inside. Seems like it is one of the prisms, since when playing with the magnification and focus I can see a lens move inside. It is just on one side, the other side is perfect and the image is crisp, but right now they are basically a cumbersome monocular.
I do not have the paperwork, since they were a gift. Any ideas how to contact Nikon and if it is worth repairing them cost wise??
Thanks a lot.

These should be covered by the Nikon 25-Year limited warranty.
This is a no-fault policy, usually costs you $10.00 plus return shipping and handling.

Check the Nikon website for more details and phone number.
I have used Nikon service and I was very satisfied, I think it
is one of the very best.

Thanks for the info. I will try to contact them. I do not depend on this binos, but it is always nice to have a back up pair
