anyone have experience with this scope?

the lack of parallax adjustment jumps out to me but it otherwise looks like an interesting scope.

I have a Zeiss Diavari V, 1 inch tube, T* German made scope which I bought in about 1996-97. I paid nearly $1500 for the scope at that time. It was then, the top of the line Zeiss scope for the American 1 inch tube market. The optics are extremely high quality and my scope has never given me any adjustment or holding zero issues in the 14 years that I have owned it. Mine is mounted on a very accurate 7mm Mag custom Mauser rifle and has been used for hunting all of these years with no accuracy or parallax issues.

I have read other reviews that complain about parallax with this scope model. My particular scope has never had any issues with parallax at any range to 300 yards or at any magnification.

I have the same scope in a 3-9x42 that sits on a custom 280 Rem. The 1 inch Zeiss Diavari scopes are an excellent line. I sure wish Zeiss still made them. 163bc

COMMENT - The 2 mentioned above were considered for a long time my many to be the best variable 1"ers made. The Summit and Kahles CL are of similiar quality. - CARRY ON

I also have the same scope in 3-9x42. It's my favorite 1" scope of all time and I have Swaro, Kahles CL, and Leup VX3. I haven't had a chance to compare it to the S&B Summit however.

I encountered incredible parallax in one I shot on a friend's .22-250. It was OK out to 250 yards or so, but at 400 it had at least 12-15" when set on 15x.
