Does anyone here have any experience with this brand of scope? I saw an ad for this scope a while back and really like what I read. Any thoughts will greatly be appreciated!
I have a Nikon Monarch 3-12x42. It is to me a very good scope only thing I don't like about it is the size of the eyepeice. I have mine mounted on a Ruger No.1 and the extra large eyepeice interferes with loading. It will probably be finding it's way onto a different rifle soon. The 2-8x32 should be good for compact and ultra light rifles.
i do have two 3-9x40's which i am very pleased with. would love to pick up a 2-8x32 some day. give us a report if you pick one up.
Mine works real good. I like the 2X for hunting the brush
I mounted it on a new Vanguard S2 Stainless 270 Win.
Gun shoots good and the scope is bright and clear. Whats
the secret to keeping my scope from turning in the rings.
Do you guys use locktite or something?

It's no secret. Burris Signature rings.
I love Burris Signature Zee rings. I can't recommend them enough.
I bought a Nikon Pro-staff, which I think is lower rated than the Monarch, back in May as an emergency scope for the rifle I was taking to Africa hunting. It seems like a nice scope that worked well. Especially for the money. Mines in Redfield bases and rings, as the outfits 45 years old. Never had one slip around in it yet, but usually use Conetrol bases and rings, as don't like screws in the rings. I've never had a scope move in them and use them on my 375.
