I am in the market for an update on my Browning A-Bolt M1000 Eclipse. I have decided on the Burris Signature Select 4-16x44mm.

Any one out there have one, and do you like it?

I want the good and the bad.

Vote Yes or No.

Thanks All

I own a Sig Select in 3.5-10x40 with Bplex reticle. Been a terrific scope for me. Clear and holds zero. Clicks are right on and it moves like it should.

So.....for me, I would vote YES!

The Burris scopes are very good quality and tough as nails. The Posi lock models are as impervious to battering and recoil as any scope ever made, IMO and IME. The 4-16 is a tad heavy, bu a good scope.

I own the exact scope you're looking at and I don't have anything bad to say other than it's a bit heavy if you're worried at all about that. Optics are great, tracks accurately and repeatedly. The reticle takes some getting used to but works surprisingly well.

editing to add minor gripe: One minor thing that I don't like about the scope is that the power adjustment of the scope turns the entire rear ocular bell. Not a big deal, but might be if you use flip up covers.

I used to have an older Signature 2.5-10, and I kind of wish I still had that scope.

Thats good to know. Not worried about how heavy it is at all.

I have two 4-16 Sigs, one is on my Cooper LVT 22RF, other is on my 700 Varmint 223, like other Signatures theyre very good scopes. Love the Burris line.[Linked Image]
