Hey guys,

I see that CameraLand has the scope on special for $169. I am thinking about it for a longer range prairie dog scope (maybe for a 6BR). Does anyone have an experience-based opinion on it? I wonder how much of the up to 32x is truly useable?

Thanks in advance.
I do not have the scope you are talking about, but I have a Vortex Crossfire in 3x9x40, about the same quality as a cheap simmons, I also have had two pair of ther binoculars the 1st set a pair of Vultures, had to be sent back!! eye cups fell off and the hinge was loose. Just bought a pair of Furys about a month ago, used them for one week! and the rubber armor is comeing off and the focus wheel and eyecups feel like they have metal shavings in them. I would spend my money on something else, I have bought three vortex products and two have been defective,
My buddy just bought the 6-24x50 crossfire. I was impressed with it for the price. It tracks well and has held up on his 7 Rem Mag so far with around 100 rounds thru it. Its usable to 24x. So I can't comment on the 32x scope you are talking about, but the 24x works all the way up and is sitting on a 7RM.

the only issue I have had was with the 12x50 Vulture bins I got from them. A lense got loose on the inside so they have to go back. But their warranty is great so no complaint.

BTW also have the 15x56 Kaibab bins and no issue with them at all.

Guess we are lucky.
