Let us know how it zeroes and tracks after you mount it. My experiment with one didn't turn out too well. Was a FF2 3-9x.

I run three 3-9's on a .35 Whelen a .45-70 and a 20ga slug gun. While I don't use any of them for dial up elevation they all have held zero perfectly. And these are not the lighteset of kickers. It's not alpha glass but a good bang for the buck.

I may have to try one again.

Ive got six of them, all FFIIs with the BP and all othe varmint rifles...which get the heaviest use...obviously I like them for the money....

Do you crank the vertical adjustment, or set and forget?

Oops, missed the BP part.

Set and forget..kinda like put the ice in the glass...add whiskey...enjoy grin

I've owned several of the FFII's and I love these things. Imo it's the best overall scope under $400. Well, I guess now that the Zeiss Conquest is $500, I'd have to up that limit. The Conquest imo is a slight step up from the FFII, but even it doesn't have huge differences. It's got slightly better glass, and better turrets, but the differences aren't anywhere near huge. To some it's worth paying double the price, to others it's not.

I've had several and liked all of them.

Got 2 a 3x9 and a 4x14. Both are great scopes for the money.

I agree. Never had a problem with these. tough scopes.

Are you talking about the new Fullfield 2 E?

They are an improvement on an already good scope for the money.
Posted By: cooperfan Re: fullfield 2 - 02/19/12
I would like to try the E version

I have several on various hunting rifles in 3x9, and one in 2x7 on my 358 Norma. I'd buy more 3x9's in a heartbeat, but the 1/2" clicks and limited adjustment range on the 2x7 are a turnoff. JMO, Dutch.

I've got a few fullfield II's (3-9x40) with ballistic plex reticle and really like them. One of these days I'll try the new E1 out.
