This is an older Vari-x II with friction adjustments. Still at the $150 range?

Unless it is NIB, it is just a used scope. Technology wise, the Vari-X IIs are about the same as the currently Rifleman series.

28mm or 33mm objective?

What serial number alpha prefix or suffix?
